Welcome to Reception Class!
I am pleased to say that all of the children have settled in really well and have made a good start to the new term.

Reading
We will be sending home reading books daily and there is a parent comment book for you to make comments on your child’s interest and approach to the content of the book. Please ensure that the book is read, ticked and returned every day so that we can change it.
Homework
Friday will be homework day. This will be in the form of letter and phonics practice, reading and maths.
PE
P.E will take place every Monday afternoon.
Your child can wear a t-shirt, shorts or leggings.
Punctuality/Attendance
Finally please make sure your child arrives at school on time; 8.50 am and picked up promptly at 3.15. If you know your child is unwell and will not be coming in please call the office and leave a message.
