Welcome to Class P!
This term Class P will be doing lots of exciting work. In English there will be opportunities for lots of speaking and listening, reading and writing. In maths we will be exploring numbers looking at more and less, tens and units and counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. Our topic for this term is dinosaurs and black history.
The children will be doing PE on Tuesdays. Please ensure your child has their PE kit in school and that all items are clearly labelled. We encourage children to practise getting dressed at home to help them get changed quickly in school! Swimming will not be starting until after the February half term.
Please ensure your child is in the playground at 8:50 every morning. It is vital that your child is on time so that they are ready to start learning at 9:00. School ends at 3.05pm for the Language Unit classes.
Similarly, please make sure that you are bringing your child to school every day. If you know that your child is unwell and will not be coming in please call the office and leave a message.

Stars of the day …
Children who get 15 happy faces or more will be STARS OF THE DAY. Your child will be encouraged to get happy faces through good looking, good listening, doing good thinking and making good choices. Encourage your child to look at you when you are talking to them and get them to repeat to you what they need to do when you give them instructions.
