Issuing Medication to Children in School
We understand that, from time to time, children will become ill and need medication. During that time they may be well enough to be in school but antibiotics are needed during the day. Please could all parents ensure that they follow the procedure below.
Complete and Sign the Form
Please visit the main office and complete and sign form which gives permission for the school to issue the medication to the child.
Bring in the box
Make sure you bring in the box with the pharmacists' instructions clearly printed on it. The staff that issue medication will follow the instructions on that box only.
Please note that children must not bring in individual tablets. The school will not issue any medication to a child where the form has not been completed. This is to ensure that we are issuing only the correctly prescribed medication in accordance with GP instructions and with your permission.
