Miles Coverdale Primary School House System
What is a house?
•The House is a group of children who have 2 heads of house. Each house has a name, colour, motto, emblem and 2 house captains.
•The house system creates competition, promotes good work and behaviour, encourages teamwork, provides opportunities to take on responsibilities and brings everyone in the school together.
What are the houses at MCPS?
Each house name, motto and emblem was designed by the children. The four houses are Unity, Diversity, Equality and Liberty. Each child in school is allocated to one of these houses.
House Cup
Each term, children are awarded house points and these are then totalled at the end of the term before the winning house is announced.
